We collect as little as we can, use it only to send you better deals, and never sell it.

1. Who we are
BDEAL (bdeal.app) is a free service that lists sports and fitness deals from stores in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. It is currently run by its founder as an individual project based in Jordan, and is not yet a registered company. The founder is responsible for your information under this policy. If BDEAL becomes a company, we will update this policy and let subscribers know.

2. What we collect
Information you give us
- When you sign up: your email address, your country, your language, and how you heard about us (for example, which social post you came from).
- If you create an account: your email address, which you also use to sign in with a one-time link (we never ask for a password).
- Your alert settings (all optional): the countries, categories and brands you care about, who you shop for, your shoe and clothing sizes, the minimum discount you want, how often you want to hear from us, and your email language.
- Products you watch: the deals you tap the bell on, with the price at the time, so we can tell you if it drops.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to write.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data: like every website, our hosting provider receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Analytics (only with your consent where required): we plan to measure how the site is used, for example which pages and deals are visited, device type, approximate location at country or city level, and how you arrived. We use this in aggregate to improve BDEAL, not to identify you.
Information stored on your device
We save a few small items in your browser’s storage so the site works the way you left it: your language, whether you have signed up for the weekly email, and, if you sign in, a secure sign-in token so you stay signed in on that device. We do not use advertising cookies.
When you click a deal
Deal links pass through bdeal.app on the way to the store, so we can count which deals people open. For each click we record the deal, the store, your country, your device type (phone or computer) and how you arrived at BDEAL. We do not record your email address or IP address, and we use no cookies for this.
Store links may be affiliate links. When you click one, the store or the affiliate network (for example Awin or Admitad) may set its own cookies so it can credit BDEAL for the referral. They see that a visitor came from BDEAL, not your email address. Their own privacy policies apply on their sites.
3. How we use it
- To show you deals for your country, in your language.
- To send you sign-in links when you ask for them.
- To send the alerts you choose: instant alerts, a daily or weekly summary, and price-drop alerts for products you watch, plus occasional important updates about BDEAL. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To match deals to your alert settings.
- To understand which deals and pages are useful, so we can improve the service.
- To keep the site secure and stop spam and abuse.
- To reply when you contact us.
We rely on your consent for the emails and for analytics, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure, useful service for the rest. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
4. What we never do
- We never sell or rent your personal information.
- We never share your email with stores or brands for their own marketing.
- We never ask for sensitive information such as health data, payment details or ID numbers. We never handle payments: you pay the store directly.
5. Who we share it with
Only with trusted service providers that help us run BDEAL, and only what they need:
- Netlify, which hosts the site, stores sign-up form submissions and runs the job that sends alerts.
- Supabase, which runs sign-in and stores your account, alert settings and watched products.
- An email service provider (such as Resend), which delivers sign-in links and alerts on our behalf.
- Google, which serves the site’s fonts and, if enabled, provides analytics and search performance data (Google Analytics, Google Search Console). The deal list is kept in Google Sheets and contains no personal data.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
These providers may store data outside the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, for example in the United States or the European Union. We choose established providers with recognised security and data protection safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
- Your account, alert settings and watched products: until you delete your account from the “My alerts” page, which removes them immediately, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Sign-up list details: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We then delete them within 30 days, keeping only a minimal record of your email address so we never email you again by mistake.
- A record of the alerts we sent you: kept with your account so you never get the same alert twice, and deleted with it.
- Emails you send us: as long as needed to deal with your request, and no longer than two years.
- Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.
- Technical logs: for the short period set by our hosting provider.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, data protection laws, including the UAE’s Personal Data Protection Law, Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law and Jordan’s Personal Data Protection Law, give you rights over your information. You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop using it for a particular purpose, or withdraw your consent;
- send your information to you in a commonly used format.
You can see and change your alert settings, remove watched products, pause all emails, or delete your account at any time from the “My alerts” page. For anything else, email hello@bdeal.app from the address you signed up with, and we will reply within 30 days. To stop our emails, simply use the unsubscribe link. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact your local data protection authority, such as the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) in Saudi Arabia or the UAE Data Office.
8. Cookies and analytics
Today, BDEAL only uses the essential browser storage described in section 2. Before we add analytics or advertising measurement that uses cookies, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first. You can change your choice at any time, and you can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
9. Children
BDEAL is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete their details.
10. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to subscriber data is limited to the people who run BDEAL. No online service can be completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
11. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date of the latest version at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell subscribers by email before it takes effect.
